In the fall of 2011, we launched a traveling concept called Caffeine Crawl. The roots of the event incorporated the pub crawl idea and applied it to the artisan coffee, tea and chocolate scene with an educational twist to it. We saw that the industry events were missing one of the most important audiences -- the enthusiastic customers/consumers at the shops. The Crawl is targeted towards this audience, plus personally reaches out to the city's local shop owners to help build community among the quality beverage industry.
The kickoff year we hosted Caffeine Crawls in Kansas City, Denver, and the college town of Springfield, MO. Our first full year in 2012, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Boulder and Vancouver, B.C. were first time cities and the launch city, Kansas City, celebrated their second Crawl. This year we have eight Crawls -- Oklahoma City, St. Louis, Boston, Minneapolis, San Francisco, Denver, Omaha and a three-day event in Kansas City to end the year. We’ve had Crawls in two countries and coast to coast across the United States.
Visit our press coverage on Caffeine Crawl experiences, which includes the likes of Imbibe, Barista Magazine, Sprudge, Zagat, Serious Eats/Drinks and many local publications.
